- Account Data: When you sign up, we collect your basic profile information (name, email, university details).
- Payment Data: We collect your M-Pesa phone number solely to process the 50 KSH subscription via Safaricom Daraja API. We do not store your M-Pesa PIN.
- Matching Data: We securely store your uploaded class schedules and preferences to power our AI recommendation engine.
- Communications: Chat messages are processed by our automated Safety Engine to prevent harassment and are securely stored to allow you to view your chat history.
2. How We Use Your Information
Your data is strictly used to provide and improve the Find Your Match Dating service. We use your schedule to find compatible free time, your photos for aesthetic matching, and your text for sentiment alignment. We will never sell your personal data to third parties.
3. Data Security & AI Moderation
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. Furthermore, our AI Moderation Engine proactively scans messages for toxic behavior and hidden phone numbers to keep the community safe. Flagged messages may be reviewed by human moderators at Delstarford Works.
4. Account Deletion
You have the right to be forgotten. You can permanently delete your account, chats, schedules, and matches at any time via the Settings page. This action is irreversible.
